Mr BRUCE (FLINDERS, VICTORIA) - It is undesirable that the Governor-General's name should be introduced into questions or debate in the House. The answer to the honorable' member's question is that I was invited to a dinner given by the GovernorGeneral on the night of the opening of Parliament, but, being unable to attend, I signified that fact to His Excellency's secretary in the ordinary courteous way.
