Mr MAHONY (DALLEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Has he read the cables of 8th May that Australia's share of the wool realization profits was £34,000.000?

2.   Did the British Government also receive a profit-share of £34,000,000; if not, how much?

3.   Can he inform tho House what was the value to the British Government of receiving Australian wool for Army and Navy purposes nt ls. 3id. per lb. instead of at current war prices elsewhere?

4.   Has he asked the British Government to set ofl" these wool profits and concessions against Australia's war debt to Britain?

5.   Will he provide an opportunity for the House to debate this matter, and if necessary, to affirm that such set-off ought to be made?
