Mr HUGHES (Bendigo) (Prime Minister and Attorney-General) . - Before we proceed with other business, I should like an opportunity to move a motion which stands in the name of the Minister for Works and Railways (Mr. Groom), for leave to bring in a Bill to amend the Conciliation and Arbitration

Act. If leave be given, I shall lay the Bill on the table, a step which will be helpful to honorable members in the discussion of the Industrial Peace Bill.
