    25   PROPOSED DISCUSSION OF MATTER OF PUBLIC IMPORTANCE— tax

The House was informed that Mr Shorten had proposed that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely, “The Government prioritising tax breaks for some of the largest corporations in the world while cutting payments, assistance and tax breaks for small businesses, families, workers and the most vulnerable across Australia”.

The proposed discussion having received the necessary support—
