    20   INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY—PARLIAMENTARY JOINT COMMITTEE—MEMBERSHIP

The House was informed that the Speaker had received advice from the Prime Minister nominating a Member to be a member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security.

Mr Albanese (Leader of the House), by leave, moved—That, in accordance with the provisions of the Intelligence Services Act 2001 , Mr Melham be discharged from the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security and that, in his place, Mr Rudd be appointed a member of the committee.
