13 Regional Australia—Standing Committee—MEMBERSHIP
The House was informed that the Chief Opposition Whip had nominated Dr Stone to be a member of the Standing Committee on Regional Australia in place of Mr Haase, and Ms Ley and Mr Secker to be supplementary members.
Dr Emerson (Minister for Trade), by leave, moved—That Mr Haase be discharged from the Standing Committee on Regional Australia and that, in his place, Dr Stone be appointed a member of the committee; and
Ms Ley and Mr Secker be appointed supplementary members of the Standing Committee on Regional Australia for the purpose of the committee’s inquiry into the impact of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan in regional Australia.
