DETERRING PEOPLE SMUGGLING BILL 2011E HIGHER EDUCATION SUPPORT AMENDMENT BILL (NO. 2) 2011E NATIONAL HEALTH REFORM AMENDMENT (INDEPENDENT HOSPITAL PRICING AUTHORITY) BILL 2011

Messages from the House of Representatives were reported transmitting for the concurrence of the Senate the following bills:

 Message no. 300, dated 1 November 2011—A Bill for an Act to clarify the law relating to people smuggling, and for related purposes.

 Message no. 303, dated 2 November 2011—A Bill for an Act to amend the Higher Education Support Act 2003, and for related purposes.

 Message no. 304, dated 2 November 2011—A Bill for an Act to amend the National Health Reform Act 2011, and for related purposes.

The Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Jobs and Workplace Relations (Senator Evans) moved—That these bills may proceed without formalities, may be taken together and be now read a first time.
