Senator LUDWIG (QueenslandMinister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Manager of Government Business in the Senate and Minister Assisting the Attorney-General on Queensland Floods Recovery) (15:26): The short answer is no. The law is as it currently stands. There is no court ruling that offends the provision. As I indicated, this is a matter that, regardless of the outcome, provides for the need to clarify beyond doubt the existing understanding of the laws.
