Senator XENOPHON (South Australia) (21:39): Recommendation 18 says that Treasury and other relevant agencies should work with banks and credit card providers to identify potential payment-blocking strategies to disrupt illegal offshore wagering. Additionally, the recommendation from the 2012 DBCDE review of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 relating to safe harbour provisions should be adopted to support these efforts. Has Treasury undertaken any work to date with banks and credit card providers to identify potential payment-blocking strategies? That is something recommended in the O'Farrell review. Is that something that Treasury has actually done work on?
