Senator BOB BROWN (Leader of the Australian Greens) (6:17 PM) —I think the minister was diverted but I thank him for confirming that. My question was: did any financial institution, particularly the four big banks or their representatives, in talks with the government indicate that they would be using this guarantee? If so, were they asked what their anticipated borrowing would be? If not, why not?
