Senator SCULLION (Minister for Community Services) (8:16 PM) —We have asked both the Federal Privacy Commissioner and the Northern Territory privacy commissioner to work with government. Whilst we have not started the process, they have agreed to the process and to develop guidelines about the use of the material. We think that is most appropriate. The intent is for the data to provide information only to the police if they should require it for an investigation or where they think a criminal act may occur.
