Senator MURRAY (4:14 PM) —While the Democrats are sympathetic to these arguments, we think that the government are entitled to trial the system. We just ask—and perhaps the minister can confirm this on the record—that they monitor its efficiency and efficacy to make sure it does not act as a barrier to exports, which is what the shadow minister is saying. But, on the basis of the knowledge we have at this stage, we will not oppose schedule 4.
