Senator FAULKNER (Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (3:47 PM) —by leave—Given that Senator Harradine has indicated that he has not seen the draft motion—I understood it was circulated much earlier, and certainly at whips' meetings—and provided that there is general acceptance that I move it later by leave, I am happy for Senator Harradine to examine it and I will come back at an appropriate time when Senator Harradine has had a chance to apprise himself of the contents. I can, obviously, move to suspend standing orders, but it might be easier for the chamber if we do it by leave. If I can work cooperatively with senators in the chamber, I like to do so. I am happy to seek leave at a later stage if it would assist Senator Harradine.
