—Minister, is it not the case, though, that the recognition of military commissions and any sentencing and jail term that may follow are not necessarily mutually exclusive to the transfer of prisoners? By that I mean could it not be the case that the Australian parliament does not officially recognise military commissions but, in the event that, for example, Mr Hicks is found guilty of the charges and sentenced to a term of imprisonment, he could nonetheless serve out that term here in Australia?
