Senator ALLISON (2:30 PM)
—It would be useful to hear what the ALP intend to do here. I would have thought that the state Labor government in South Australia would appreciate these amendments being successful since it is what state governments around Australia have asked for, as I understand it—especially South Australia, which expects to have this waste dump imposed on it. No doubt other states would not wish to have the Commonwealth simply advise them that it is happening—in fact, we know that that is very much the case. So I look forward to getting ALP support for this.
