Senator BROWN (3:38 PM)
—by leave—Could the Manager of Government Business tell us why this motion is being brought on in this manner—that is, for discussion on the same day? It would have been at least polite to have given us warning that it was coming on the next day or a day later in the week. I am ready and able to debate the matter, but it is an important debate. It has been on the Notice Paper. I am wondering why it has been brought on for today.
