Senator HILL (Minister for Defence) (1:23 PM) —I am a little surprised, Mr Temporary Chairman, but I am told that the assessment of the nine places will be completed by the Australian Heritage Commission before the enactment of the new legislation; thus any Commonwealth pieces that have been added to the RNE would be eligible to come under the new legislation if they meet the criteria set out in the new legislation.
