Senator PATTERSON (Minister for Health and Ageing) (10:02 AM) —I will have no more to say on this after I have made the following comments. I appreciate that Senator Murphy now accepts that it is prudent to put in the word `intentionally'. This legislation has been through the Attorney-General's Department. It complies with criminal law drafting. I believe that it is appropriate for the word `intentionally' be put in there for the purposes that I have outlined—that is, because some states do not have criminal codes and we want to have the legislation looking as consistent as possible nationally.
