Senator FAULKNER (Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (4:58 PM)
—Normally, the opposition would consider dividing on this. It is clear from the voices that this particular amendment has been carried on the voices. We might have divided, but given the hour of day we will not on this occasion. I just record the opposition's position in the negative.
Question put:
That the motion (Senator Faulkner's), as amended, be agreed to.
