Senator BROWN (10:27 PM) —Therefore, we have got the difficulty that any prescribed island—and Tasmania is one of them; we have just heard that from the minister—that forms part of a state or territory can be removed by regulation. My amendment removes that offending clause. I foreshadow that I will be moving a further amendment if the government and opposition do not accept this amendment.
