Senator ALSTON (Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts) (6:15 PM) —The answer to Senator Brown's question is that about a third of the money lost on wagering is derived from problem gambling. The answer to Senator Harris's question is that they are precisely the matters that ought to be examined by the review process. If we knew all the answers we would not need to have a review. Quite clearly, blocking can occur at different levels and it can have different cost implications for different ISPs. So I do not think there is a single answer to the question in any event. It is one of those matters that I would have thought people would be interested in knowing. That is why it is one of the matters that is currently being looked at.
