(1) That estimates hearings by legislation committees for the year 2000 be scheduled as follows:
1999-2000 additional estimates:
Monday, 7 February, Tuesday, 8 February and, if required, Friday, 11 February (initial hearings—Group A )
Wednesday, 9 February, Thursday, 10 February and, if required, Friday, 11 February (initial hearing—Group B )
Tuesday, 2 May and, if required, Thursday, 4 May (supplementary hearings—Group A )
Wednesday, 3 May and, if required, Thursday, 4 May (supplementary hearings—Group B ).
2000-2001 budget estimates:
Monday, 22 May to Thursday, 25 May (initial hearings—Group A )
Monday, 29 May to Thursday, 1 June (initial hearings—Group B )
Wednesday, 29 November and, if required, Friday, 1 December (supplementary hearings—Group A )
Thursday, 30 November and, if required, Friday, 1 December (supplementary hearings—Group B ).
(2) That the committees meet in accordance with the groupings agreed to on 26 November 1998.
(3) That the committees report to the Senate by the following dates:

Particulars of proposed additional expenditure for the service of the year ending on 30 June 2000
Particulars of certain proposed additional expenditure in respect of the year ending on 30 June 2000
Advance to the Minister for Finance and Administration—Issues from the Advance to the Minister for Finance and Administration as a final charge for the year ended 30 June 1999 (tabled 21 October 1999 )
Provision for running costs borrowings—Statements and supporting applications of issues for May and June 1999 (tabled 29 September 1999 )
Final budget outcome 1998-99 (tabled 28 September 1999 ).
(5) That the committees consider the proposed expenditure, expenditure under the Advance to the Minister for Finance and Administration, the provision for running costs borrowings and the final budget outcome 1998-99 in accordance with the allocation of departments to committees agreed to on 11 November 1998.
(6) That consideration of the Advance to the Minister for Finance and Administration for the year ended 30 June 1999 in committee of the whole be an order of the day for the day on which legislation committees report on their examination of the Issues from the Advance.
