Senator IAN CAMPBELL (6:24 PM) —I would like to thank all honourable senators for their contribution. I did go through in some detail to thank the team who were responsible for these historic reforms to Australia's Corporations Law that will undoubtedly mean an increase in business opportunities, and therefore jobs, in Australia. I did miss one person, however, and that is Australia's Treasurer, Peter Costello. He probably does not need many pats on the back, but he deserves one anyway. If it had not been for the Treasurer's significant commitment to a major overhaul of Australia's Corporations Law, it would not have happened. He took a very close personal interest in it. It was one of the great privileges of my life to work so closely with him during that two-year period. I commend the bill to the Senate.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a third time.
