Senator ELLISON (Special Minister of State) (11:33 AM) —The government has stated that that review will take place after the legislation which deals with parliamentary remuneration has been passed. As to when that will take place, who knows? There has been an amendment to this bill which the government will have to consider. This bill has been amended in a form which might well be unacceptable to the government. So let us deal with this bill first, before we know where we are going in the future. The question of a review will be determined at an appropriate time.
