Senator FAULKNER (11:15 AM) —No, it is not an alternative. I had hoped to have a little more guidance in the chamber as to the likely fate of the amendment before I asked you that question, Minister. The opposition's position is clear: we will be proceeding with the amendment. My question ought not be seen as an alternative to that. I would not want you to respond to it under that misapprehension.
