Senator FAULKNER (4:58 PM) —I have had circulated the consequential amendments to the Referendum (Machinery Provisions) Act that we have spoken of earlier in the debate. Given that the House of Representatives' amendments have been negatived, the appropriate course of action is to have all three consequential amendments now dealt with by the committee. The Labor Party intend to oppose schedule 1, items 55 to 58; schedule 1, items 60 to 63; and schedule 1, items 64 and 65.
