To the Honourable the President and Members of the Senate in Parliament assembled:
The petition of the undersigned students, staff and friends of the University of Ballarat requests the Senate to call on the Australian Government to withdraw its draconian Higher Education Legislation Amendment Bill (HEL) which will if passed only serve to reduce student services and facilities and seriously erode the efficient representative structure which has been established over many years.
by Senator Jacinta Collins(from 105 citizens)
by Senator Cooney(from 106 citizens)
