Senator HILL (Environment and Heritage) (11:02 AM) —I want to table the supplementary explanatory memorandum that you refused me tabling of last night.

The CHAIRMAN —No, I did not refuse you, Minister. I was given the advice that it would have been better during that particular bill rather than this bill. You can table it whenever you like.

Senator HILL —Now that both of these bills are being debated, I will table the supplementary explanatory memorandum relating to the government amendments being moved to this bill, the Environmental Reform (Consequential Provisions) Bill 1998 [1999] . The memorandum was circulated in the chamber on 22 June 1999.
