Senator MARK BISHOP (10:22 PM) —I think this discussion is probably coming to an end—as fascinating as it has been—and I would like to put on the record the position of the opposition. The discussion has essentially been on the difference between the opt-in model and the opt-out model—the model supported by the Democrats and the Greens (WA). The opposition understands that we will divide on this when it comes to a vote. The opposition would like to put on the record that we support our opt-in model, with the amendments that we discussed earlier. We will not press our amendments to a division if it comes to that, but we do wish to place on the record the strength of our views concerning our amendments.
