Senator Robert Ray asked the Special Minister of State, upon notice, on 9 March 1999:

(1) Between 1 July 1998 and 28 February 1999, what equipment has been provided and/or replaced for the Government Members Secretariat, for example; mobile phones, photocopiers, colour printers, fax machines, folding and inserting machines, guillotines, franking machines, computer equipment, including software, etc.

(2) What has been the cost in each instance of the equipment provided.
