Senator CHRIS EVANS (8:40 PM) —I just ask of Senator Lees: I understood that you were proposing to split this amendment—and correct me if I am wrong—into two sections. I think we had indicated privately that we were happy to support one but not two. This is amendment 3 which deals with the review of the operation of the act and the cessation of the operation of the act; am I correct on that? I understood that you were going to consider moving them separately. Perhaps I could indicate that we were prepared to vote for the first part and not the second part, and that was why we were suggesting that you might move them separately.
