Senator MURRAY (10:01 AM) —I ask that general business notice of motion No. 91 standing in my name for today relating to the reference of a bill to the Corporations and Securities Committee be taken as formal.

The PRESIDENT —There is objection to formality at this stage. Do you wish to defer it to a later hour?

Senator MURRAY —I seek clarification. I spoke to Senator Conroy yesterday and understood that the Labor Party would agree to formality.

Senator O'Brien —I ask that this matter be deferred to a later hour, until I can get some clarification.
