Senator WOODLEY (5:53 PM) —The Democrats support the amendments as a very sensible compromise between opinions which were really heading in the same direction but had not quite come together. So certainly we are happy to support them and were encouraged by the opposition's indication that maybe compromise can be achieved in some of the other bills that we have before us.
