—In accordance with the provisions of the Parliament Act 1974, I present the following proposals by the National Capital Authority to carry out work within the parliamentary zone, together with supporting documentation: removal of Old Parliament House annex, construction of pedestrian and cycle access to and from Commonwealth Avenue and Kings Avenue bridges, minor road works in front of Old Parliament House and external restoration works for Old Parliament House, proposed on behalf of the Department of Communications and the Arts. I seek leave to give a notice of motion in relation to the proposals.

—I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:
That, in accordance with section 5 of the Parliament Act 1974 , the Senate approves the following proposals by the National Capital Authority:
(a) removal of Old Parliament House Annex;
(b) construction of pedestrian and cycle access to and from Commonwealth Avenue and Kings Avenue bridges;
(c) minor roadworks in front of Old Parliament House; and
(d) external restoration works for Old Parliament House, proposed on behalf of the Department of Communications and the Arts.
