Senator MURRAY (11:10 AM) —Minister, all of us are very conscious—and in fact I have just had a discussion with Senator Schacht on this—of the pressure of bills and legislative work which is before us, and there is the prospect, as we all know, that we may not return to this place until after an election. That being so, what is the likely fate of amendments to this bill that go down to the House? What is the government's view of both how it would consider those amendments and in what way legislation could be returned to the Senate if amendments are rejected?
