Senator NEAL (8:43 PM) —I must say that this position the government is taking is really a bit extreme. To restrict it this much for people who are over 21 years old is probably taking it a bit far. I think it is not unreasonable that people over the age of 21 years who are in fact permanently living away from their parents' home should be entitled to rent assistance, and without having to establish that they have a need to. I think it is excessive in the circumstances to insist that adults over the age of 21 remain living with their parents.
