Senator MURRAY(6.22 p.m.) —I move:

(3)   Omit subclause 10(2), substitute:

   (2)   In the report, the Commission must report on matters relating to industry, industry development and productivity that have been referred to it, and the Commission may also report on industry and productivity performance generally.

This is an amendment to opposition amendment No. 4 on sheet 366 revised. It broadens the matters that the commission can comment on in its annual report. Given that the current Industry Commission already comments on economy-wide matters in its report, I do not think this widening is a dramatic change from the opposition's intention or from the current situation.
