Senator LEES (Deputy Leader of the Australian Democrats)(3.49 p.m.) —I seek leave to amend business of the Senate notice of motion No. 1 standing in my name for today. The text of the amendments, as agreed to with the government, have been circulated.

Senator LEES —I amend the motion to read as follows:

Omit paragraph (3), substitute:

   (e)   options for reform in the delivery of public dental services, inlcuding an exploration of the efficiency and effectiveness of a range of options for delivering dental services to low income earners.

I ask that the motion be taken as formal.
