Senator MARGETTS(6.46 p.m.) —Is there any potential for contradiction when you refer to clauses such as clause (s), that is, the removal of waste products of a mining operation referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) from the place where the mining operation is carried on? If we are directed by law to construe this in its own terms and not by reference to paragraph (a) or (b), does this mean that it is about removal of waste products from mining but not in reference to paragraph (a) or (b), or do we interpret the law to say that, by construing this in its own terms, it is in reference to (a) or (b)?
