Governor-General's Proclamations—Commencement of an Act and Provisions of an Act

Proclamations by His Excellency the Governor-General were tabled, notifying that he had proclaimed the following Act and provisions of an Act to come into operation on the dates specified:

Migration Legislation Amendment Act (No. 1) 1997—Schedule 1—1 May 1997 (Gazette No. S 168, 1 May 1997).

Migration (Visa Application) Charge Act 1997—1 May 1997 (Gazette No. S 168, 1 May 1997).
