Senator CAMPBELL (Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer) —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That on Wednesday, 26 March 1997:

(a)   the hours of meeting shall be:

   9.30 am to 7 pm, 8 pm to adjournment;

(b)   the routine of business shall be:

   (i)   Government business only

   (ii)   At 2 pm, questions

   (iii)   Petitions

   (iv)   Notices of motion

   (v)   Postponement and rearrangement of business

   (vi)   Formal motions—discovery of formal business

   (vii)   Government business

   (viii)   Adjournment; and

(c)   the question for the adjournment of the Senate shall not be proposed until a motion for the adjournment is moved by a minister.
