Senator SHERRY (Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate)(8.45 p.m.) —Very briefly, I wish it would, but it won't. Senator Allison used a description that we rarely hear about the Labor Party these days: `somewhat radical'. I am pleased to accept the compliment, Senator Allison. I am not pleased at your position, but we will get to your amendments. Even though they are not as radical as what we are proposing, we will not have much choice, I suspect, when we get to them next.
