Senator HARRADINE(12.48 p.m.) —I am sorry, Minister, I was referring to the question raised by Senator Woodley which related to the existing provisions. I assume Senator Woodley was really getting at what steps in our consideration of 9 we should take to consider the issue of obligations to families. Does the department have discretion in that particular matter? I would like to feel that this government has regard for family obligations. These sons obviously went to an area of low employment, or high unemployment, to help their folks out on the farm, which had been devastated by drought. They were trying to pick themselves up. They lost their benefits.
