Senator CAMPBELL (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Environment and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Sport, Territories and Local Government)(6.57 p.m.) —The government disagrees, and I think the Democrats disagree, with that position. We believe they must have regard to these important matters when they are performing their functions. It is a matter of emphasis but we certainly prefer the stronger emphasis. I guess you could always move an amendment if you thought we should weaken the commission's regard for these matters.
