Senator HERRON (Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs)(11.34 a.m.) —My advice is that we will seek the advice of the regional councils. I presume they would look at who were unsuccessful on the ballot at that time.


Senator Kernot —And represented the community that was unrepresented.


Senator HERRON —Yes, but it will be up to the regional councils themselves to recommend.
