Senator HERRON (Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs)(10.51 a.m.) —Yes, that is correct. As I say, the report was completed by the Australian Electoral Commission and the recommendations went forward to the previous government and were supported by the previous government and are now supported by the current government. Of course, it does not become law until it passes through the Senate and the House of Representatives.
