—by leave—I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:
That the following matter be referred to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Native Title and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Fund for inquiry and report in conjunction with the committee's inquiry and report pursuant to paragraph 206(d) of the Native Title Act 1993:
The proposed changes to the Native Title Act 1993 as outlined in the Government's discussion paper of May 1996, `Towards a more workable Native Title Act'.
