To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in the Parliament assembled.
The petition of the undersigned citizens and residents of Australia respectfully showeth that:
We register our strongest protest at the decision by the French Government to resume nuclear testing in the South Pacific.
The decision to resume testing is without regard to strident opposition from not only the people and nations of the South Pacific, but also many other countries around the world.
And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
