Senator HARRADINE (11.41 a.m.) —I thank the minister, but I think I must be missing something. I am talking about a person who is charged under the social security legislation, not a person charged under the Crimes Act. Does the Acts Interpretation Act in some way mean that one interprets the penalty involving imprisonment for six months to include the possibility of a pecuniary penalty—a fine?
