Senator VALLENTINE
—Mr President, as the independent peace Senator from Western Australia, I wish to add my congratulations to you on your re-election to the position of President of the Senate. I am sure that you will continue in the good way in which you began in the position in February this year. Also I hope that you will not be in that position for such a short time and that we will run the full term of office-in other words, that we do not have an election that will send us back to the polls earlier than we should go. I wish you all the best for the next term, Mr President.
